Everything Is Energy
From the “stuff” that surrounds you to the hopes and fears swimming around in the ocean of your unconscious mind — it’s all energy, just in different forms.
Because everything is energy, the same techniques work for shifting your energy regardless of where you’re at and what your goals may be.
Maybe you’re going through one of the hardest times in your life and all you can think about is surviving.
Or maybe you’re doing pretty good… and your primary goal is to get grounded in that good place and look for ways to thrive.
Either way, learning how to get unstuck and energized will help. More than help, learning these things can shift not only your energy but in turn, help uplift everyone you’re connected to.
When you recognize that everything is energy — and we’re all swimming in an infinite ocean of energy and information — you begin to see how shifts in one place can effect things even in far away places.
It’s like “spooky action at a distance” multiplied by “the butterfly effect” raised to the power of a million. That’s just how it works.
Below are a few brief descriptions of methods you can use to shift your energy.
If even one of these tips hits you at the right time in your life, it can be a lifesaver and a life changer.
1. Radical Acceptance
Acceptance is the antidote to resistance.
Resistance can be a great waste of your life energy. Fighting with reality is like trying to stand still in a river of rushing white water.
Try to understand that resistance is almost always due to your inner story far more than it is about the true external reality.
Practicing acceptance is a super powerful way to shift that blocking, stopping “resistance energy” into go forward energy.
Taken a step further, Radical Acceptance is the practice of simply allowing everything to be as it is, without any need to name it, tell a story about it, or change it.

2. “I AM Enough”
When you turn the practice of Radical Acceptance inward, you can practice this tremendous shift in how you perceive yourself in the world – your worth and value.
If you carry with you a deep sense of just not being or doing enough, you are certainly not alone. I could write for days about this problem because it takes a great many forms – all of which are energy draining and prosperity blocking gremlins, for lack of a better word.
While years of therapy might yield some understanding of where this feeling stems from, it’s good to realize that you don’t have to wait for those answers to begin shifting this energy.
You can begin immediately by simply getting yourself into the most relaxed state you can manage in the moment, closing your eyes, then saying silently or out loud “I AM ENOUGH”.
Feel free to expound on this as your heart desires!
“I AM ENOUGH. I do enough. I am enough. Just as I am. I don’t need to prove my worth or value to anyone, including myself. I am Whole and Complete just as I AM.”
If you practice this even one time a day – and really listen to your body – you will be amazed at the shifts that take place.
3. You Have All the Time in the World
“Time poverty” is a funny thing. As is the feeling of running out of time, or falling behind. And I get all of them… dealing with time has been one of my personal challenges in this lifetime.
But here’s the thing about time – it’s the ONE resource that every living being gets in the same quantity at the same rate. No matter who you are or what your situation in life – you literally have all the time in the world. Just as every other person also has all of the time in the world.
Realizing this can, if you allow it, help you shift out of a time poverty mindset. Any one kind of scarcity in your energy field can easily lead to other forms.
Realizing that you truly have all of the time in the world is a wonderful way to switch tracks into a greater awareness of the true abundance available to all living beings.
So now that you have all of the time in the world, the question becomes — what are you doing with it? And what are you going to do with it tomorrow?
4. Dump the Shame Overboard
If you find yourself using the word “should” a lot, you’re probably hauling around a lot of shame energy. If this is you, don’t be ashamed. We all get more than our share growing up.
Shame is a dense, dark energy. It drags you down instead of lifting you up. It exists at a very low vibration, and as such – it “vibes” with other very low vibrational emotions.
The sooner you dump it overboard, the happier and lighter will your travels be.
For some, simply recognizing this can be a start. Listen to your language, tap into your feelings, and journal when you can. Whenever and wherever you detect shameful feelings, look for ways to get that out into the light. Play and discover ways to feel better about yourself.
This is one of those things that’s so important that if you need help with it, don’t hesitate to look for it, ask for it, and allow it into your life.
5. Grant Yourself Permission
If you are feeling stuck in any area of your life, it may worth your while to truly ask yourself — are you really allowing yourself to move forward?
Are you allowing yourself to heal? How ready are you feeling to move on? Are you holding onto energies that are dragging you down?
“Of course I want to feel better”, you might say in response.
You can want to feel better and to move on, and still not be allowing yourself to do so. You can be withholding permission unconsciously. Or worse, waiting for approval from some external authority.
There can be any number of internal blockers holding you back.
How can you overcome these?
One way is to explicitly grant yourself permission. This may sound silly, but trust me – this is yet another super powerful technique that can help you get unstuck and free up much needed energy at the same time.
Following the same technique as with the “I AM Enough” practice above, do what you can to bring yourself into the calmest state possible, then close your eyes and say silently or out loud any variation of any of the following statements:
I give myself permission to heal completely.
I allow myself to let go of anything and everything holding me back.
I grant myself permission to move ahead in life, in my relationships, and in my work.
I allow great abundance to flow into my life.
I give myself complete permission to be who I came here to be, and to do what I came here to do.
If there’s a particular area of life where you are feeling blocked, then include that in your permission statements.
Going a step further, some people have found great benefit in printing out literal permission slips and taping them up in a place where they will see them throughout the day.
